Simple yet different, immaculately cut, perfect length, fabric looks really nice (as far as I can tell from a picture and based on my personal purchases), sooo chic.

A classic Chelsea boot, with or without heel. I actually have a pair with a more rounded toe, which I would prefer, having said that, one needs to try the items together.

I could go on… Actually, I think this skirt would be great with shoes too, but I am into ankle boots right now…

Burt orange, rust, burgundy and blues

Back from my last summer holiday and already wishing autumn was sooner…

I am terribly excited about the new colours for the cold season, right now about these specific ones: burnt orange, rust, burgundy and blue. Some people might think I am a bit mad, I am so crazy about these shades and combinations of them, I can hardly wait to wear them! Imagine somebody looking at a famous painting and admiring it, feeling it’s one of the most beautiful things they have ever seen… well, that’s how I feel. Because I don’t think there’s a difference, if something is beautiful, it just is, no matter what it is. It could be a painting, a tree, a bird, or a combination of colours!!

Enough! Here they are:

Burgundy + imperial blue

Burnt orange and norse blue

I hate orange. But, provided it is matched with the right colours, I love these darker shades of orange. Blue, I like just about every shade available.

White embroidered blouses

Following Keep it Chic’s post, I did go looking for more affordable options of the embroidered white blouse. It has proved very difficult to find anything decent, most of them are quite awful (not bad, very very bad!!). I do not like “boho”, I do not like polyester and cheap. Especially in a white shirt. The fabric needs to be good and, if there is an embroidery, this must be high quality.

As I said, I couldn’t really find anything terribly exciting. I wanted a long sleeve shirt with a real embroidery, done with a thick thread. Perhaps is a bit early for it or perhaps it is not in fashion, I don’t know.

Here’s what I did find:

The only way I would wear such blouses is with a pair of jeans, pointy flats (rounded toe ones look too classic and boring I reckon), I would then add pearl earrings and a fun small handbag, like so:

Embroidered blouse + jeans

So, what do you think? Will you be wearing an embroidered blouse ? (when it gets colder add a long wooly cardigan).

BTW. In the process of trying to find blouses I also found this cute dress:
