I have decided I should gather together in one post all the different styles of shoes for Spring/Summer 2015 because there are too many this season to write about separately. I also don’t want to stick to writing only about shoes, even though I could!!! ( sounds like a threat!)
Lace-up flats (the style I MUST have and I am willing to spend a reasonable amount of money on!)
Two/three tone shoes (very nice but can’t have them all!). They seem to be everywhere…
Patterned shoes (same as above, perhaps if I found a really cheap pair)
I have done a post about floral ballerinas too if you want to see more:

Brogues: suede, laser-cut, cut-out or the usual leather (I like them but not mad about them for the warm part of the year).
D’Orsay flats (cute, a cheap pair will do).
See this post if you wish to look at more styles:

Curved heel shoes (decided to put the original but plenty of cheaper ones around and no, I won’t have them, love them though, maybe next season).
Mules. I still have some pairs from the last time they were fashionable!!!!!!!!! Does that mean I am old or lucky?!? Anyway, these have also got “The curved heel!” Nice flat and mid heel too.
White rubber soles (have already ordered them!!!!). Love them because they are mules, they aren’t too elegant because of the sole and the heel looks comfy, I hope!!
Of course there are more styles than I decided to show on this post but I chose to only show what I like. As usual.

I wasn’t aware they existed or even had a name for that matter! Apparently D’Orsay shoes have been around for a long time and have started being fashionable again during this winter. I wasn’t sure I liked them to be honest but I suppose it was winter (still is actually), and I was more thinking boots or lace-up shoes. Now we are heading towards Spring though, I have started looking at them…and I think I might fancy them after all. They are very feminine and make one’s legs look way longer than other shoes. I suppose they also are quite sophisticated. I was also curious about their name:
Definition of D’Orsay: a pump-type shoe or slipper made with a circular vamp and a quarter that curves to meet the vamp at the shank line. Origin: after Count Alfred G.G. d’Orsay †1852 French society leader and arbiter of fashion.
Anyway, I prefer them flat (there’s apparently a heeled version) and worn with either trousers or longuettes.
You have no idea how many there are out there right now!! An enormous amount, I had difficulties choosing ( I am not sure some can actually be called D’Orsay) but here are some really cute ones:
The dark ones
and the light ones
brighter colours
fun ones
and even a pair of rather fashion forward/futuristic rubber ones
I guess I ought to show at least one heel for info purposes
This is just a small part of what’s available…
