Wrapping up

I have always found “wrapping up” so chic, luxurious, elegant (not necessarily dressy elegant) and of course feminine and cosy. Never out of date, clothes need to be well cut though and the fabric also needs to be high quality. Warning: be aware of the fact that “wrapping up” can go seriously wrong, you may end up looking decidedly “tarty”…

So, do you still think you can master it?!

DBE

I have been following her Blog for some time. I don’t know who she is or what she looks like but it doesn’t matter. She posts really good pictures, often of outfits worn by “headless people”, sometimes “with heads”, others of beautiful places. I follow her though, because of her minimalist, laid-back style choices. Understated and quality pieces are her pick. Love how she keeps it simple, doesn’t follow trends and dresses ‘down’ instead of ‘up’. Proves the point ‘ less is more.

You can find her photos here

And here are some I saved:

Classic match

I know I shouldn’t be looking at winter clothes yet but I love them so much more than the summer ones….

So, here’s a “match made in heaven”, cashmere cardigan, jeans and loafers, mid-heel loafers!!

Cashmere cardigan + jeans light blue + thin necklace + mid-heel loafers

The cardigan is Massimo Dutti (here). They have a new cashmere collection out with the usual suspects. I am sure you are bound to have a pair of jeans and a necklace similar the ones in the picture. Now, the shoes. I would just about kill to have those Gucci gorgeous loafers, but I can’t… either kill or have them!

Here are a few alternatives:

I really quite like the “The seller” leather pair…
