I do like this season! Warm but not too hot. I also like it because of what I can wear.

SHOES: It’s the moment one can start wearing shoes without socks!!!

Ballerinas are my favourite, or something open at the sides. Maybe in pastel colours. I don’t especially like high heels although I don’t mind “kitten heels” right now (I think this is what they are called).

I also like brogues, I have seen some lovely linen/leather cream/brown ones.

TROUSERS: I think this is the moment for trousers, skirts with pale blue legs aren’t the best! I still have some heavier trousers out but also starting with heavy cotton ones and of course jeans.

T-SHIRTS: I really need more of those. Just haven’t found many yet, a couple from COS, basic dark grey and white. I will look again soon, see if I can find something a little more unusual.

SHIRTS: I feel this is the best moment of the year to wear shirts, classic ones, frilly ones, WHITE ones ( I have several, one never has enough white ones…), not sure about the bright ones though, I feel it is a little too early for those. By the way, I love Aglini shirts, they are special! I find them stylish and the price is ok.

JACKETS: of course there is still need for a jacket in the morning and evening. I quite like a suit jacket but it has to be not too elegant, perhaps a heavy cotton or denim-like fabric.

ACCESSORIES: I also think it’s nice to start adding some colourful accessories, thin belts, jewellery, scarves. This a category which a lot of people overlook but which I find very important, it can make an outfit special or make it come all together.

The winter handbag has to go, not ready for the bright summer one though, I think a nice brown leather or, in some cases navy one, can be the right one just now. Maybe some of those pastel coloured clutches.

I have put some pictures so you can see what kind of accessories I am talking about.
