Holiday chic with a kaftan

There’s a fine line between a nice kaftan and a terribly kitsch one. There’s also a fine line between matching it the right way, looking trendy and “holiday chic”, and ending up looking like you bought the whole outfit on the beach at an extremely cheap price…

I have taken to wearing a hat. I am just about desperate, the heat is unbearable… I am trying to hide under everything possible…

I don’t love the wide brim really, I prefer something a bit more subtle. I don’t like the “floppy” type either. So, here’s what I do like:
