Printed blouses

I have a thing for printed blouses now…
I am not sure why but this is my latest passion. I saw a gorgeous printed top a few days ago and I fell in love with it!
Here it is:

Can you imagine it with a pair of jeans and ballerinas, nothing too dressy or complicated. But, I would also add (and this is my other new passion!!) a chunky necklace, just on top on its rounded collar. I know, that would make it look even busier and really too much… but I love it. Something like this:

Here is one more example of how I would wear printed tops + chunky necklace:

Isn’t that sooo fresh and chic and different and … not sure, just fabulous I guess. At least that is how I feel about it!! Well, just really into this right now, I do occasionally get over excited about outfits or single items..

Anyway, here are the single pieces:

A green handbag

A woman needs lots of handbags. This is a fact.

Of course it isn’t possible to buy several per year, at least most of us can’t afford to. I actually think one shouldn’t.
The answer is going for quality and building up your set of bags over the years.
That means starting with the basics, which are usually black and brown, and then adding less sensible colours. Which depends partly on personal style but should also depend on timeless taste.

Having collected several bags over the years I am not really looking at the basic ones anymore. That’s why last week I stopped in front of a green bag!!
Green, I like this colour. My clothes tend to be very simple and the colours aren’t bright at all. That’s where a, not exactly bright but nevertheless a coloured bag, comes in!!
Dark green but even a brighter one, is really quite good with lots of colours if you think about it. It is better worn during winter but not that bad for the summer months either, as long as it isn’t worn with elegant clothes.

Anyway, here is one I find gorgeous:

And the other blazers….

I know I said I don’t like bright colours…. there are always exceptions though!
Provided the rest of one’s outfit is extremely simple, one doesn’t invest too much money and does it with summer clothing….one may want to consider something really bright. Like these:

and if you think it’s a bit early for the above, which I completely agree with, there’s always a nice bright mid-season coat…
