Winter’s t-shirts

The t-shirt, I find, is a cardinal garment to anybody’s wardrobe. For this reason, it needs to be excellent quality. I am happy to say I now hold the answer to this problem: & Other Stories. I now… you must be thinking: “here we go again, the woman loves their stuff, therefore etc. etc.” But, NO! I HAVE PROOF.

Last year I bought three of their winter t-shirts, have used them over and over again, obviously washed them lots of times as well. They are as good as new. I rest my case.

I was in the shop two days ago but I concentrated on bigger things (might do a post about it) but I did notice the fabulous t-shirts, which I thought I would look at on-line though. Also, my sister needs some, so, here is my selection Sis:

(I am showing only colours available at the date of this post’s publication)

1.Gorgeous. Difficult in beige if you are not a stick insect.

  1.  Lovely plain t-shirt in even lovelier colours. Neck is very high and the fit is tight, I would go for a size bigger then I normally wear…

    &Other Stories Sheer Wool T-Shirt (100% wool) € 29

    &Other Stories Sheer Wool T-Shirt (100% wool) € 29

3. A “cutie”

&Other Stories Striped Crewneck T-Shirt (95% cotton 5% Eleastane) € 25

&Other Stories Striped Crewneck T-Shirt (95% cotton 5% Eleastane) € 25

4. Love the colour and the easy cut.

5. Plain soft fabric round-neck, loose t-shirt.

6. Plain viscose scoop-neck t-shirt.

7. If you don’t want all wool but just a little, viscose makes you feel cold, here’s something in between…

&Other Stories Wool-Blend Top grey (70% Lyocell 30% wool) € 25

&Other Stories Wool-Blend Top grey (70% Lyocell 30% wool) € 25

8. But if you are really really cold, here’s a gorgeous long sleeve for you. This, like the short sleeves wool t-shirt, looks rather tight on the body and around the neck. Do consider going a size bigger than normal.

9. Two more…

These are all. Here’s the link to the t-shirts’ page: & Other Stories T-Shirts

Oversized chic warmth

Cold, finally! I am rather exited, not because I am into cold weather at all costs, although I do like it better than heat, but because I love “cold fashion” soooo much!!!! Now I can wear those chunky sweaters I adore. Actually, they don’t need to be thick, just as long as they look it. It’s more about looking cosy, wrapped into something warm, layers. The sleeves, if supposed to be long, must be a little too long, the jumper has to be roomy, longish, but if not so long, then the layer underneath has to be a little longer then the top one…and if you can, add a scarf too. All of this on the top part of your body and your legs will look great! Long and thin.

So, this is the formula: Chunky sweater + narrow plain uneventful but well cut trousers (or leather if you are up to it) + lace-up shoes/ankle boots AND a huge scarf. THIS IS GOING TO BE MY UNIFORM.

Grey sweaters + leather trousers + checked scarf + ankle boots

Dark green sweater + leather trousers + fur collar + brogues

The above to get the idea of what I am talking about. Following, a few items I found to put this look together:

For gorgeous big scarves, do look in men’s depts. They tend to be better quality and designs too…

0313354001_0_0I obviously had to do a post about the COS winter sale. I am not going to comment every piece here as they are too many.

Do remember COS is all about cut, textures, materials.
