Oversized chic warmth

Cold, finally! I am rather exited, not because I am into cold weather at all costs, although I do like it better than heat, but because I love “cold fashion” soooo much!!!! Now I can wear those chunky sweaters I adore. Actually, they don’t need to be thick, just as long as they look it. It’s more about looking cosy, wrapped into something warm, layers. The sleeves, if supposed to be long, must be a little too long, the jumper has to be roomy, longish, but if not so long, then the layer underneath has to be a little longer then the top one…and if you can, add a scarf too. All of this on the top part of your body and your legs will look great! Long and thin.

So, this is the formula: Chunky sweater + narrow plain uneventful but well cut trousers (or leather if you are up to it) + lace-up shoes/ankle boots AND a huge scarf. THIS IS GOING TO BE MY UNIFORM.

Grey sweaters + leather trousers + checked scarf + ankle boots

Dark green sweater + leather trousers + fur collar + brogues

The above to get the idea of what I am talking about. Following, a few items I found to put this look together:

For gorgeous big scarves, do look in men’s depts. They tend to be better quality and designs too…
