Just wanted to point out you can buy Designer clothes and accessories from sites which specialise in selling already worn items, “pre-owned”, as they called them. If you have been reading my Blog you know I can’t afford “Designer”, but, if you haven’t, been reading I mean, this is what I think: there are plenty of very good clothing companies out there, there is no need at all to spend too much money.

Having said that, I do like certain Designers and also fancy having a few of their creations…..

that’s why …..

I have recently bought a “pre-owned” Missoni sweater, the site is based in the States. I had been fancying a Missoni top for quite some time, so I decided I would go ahead and try this new adventure.

Results:

1- The sweater got here pretty quickly and was in very good condition.

2- I think it’s gorgeous

3- A third of what I paid (which by the way wasn’t much at all) went on delivery costs, therefore, next time I am going to try to get what I want from a European site

4-I think I might do this again!!!!!

Here is the USA site: https://www.therealreal.com

They have an enormous amount of clothes and accessories, you could spend hours looking through it!!

You can subscribe to either in order to receive mails with the latest arrivals although I would advise against it, as you might find yourself  “needing” too many things…. I would only visit them in order to find something specific and special.

P.S. Found a site based in Italy too:

looks quite good….

Dress over dress

Have you ever thought about wearing two dresses together? I have a couple of dresses which have got sleeves that aren’t quite long enough to keep me warm and also a sleeveless one. I love them. I could just wear a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, or a cardigan on top, but I feel it’s a little boring. That’s when I decided to actually wear one dress on top of another! And boy!! the result was everything but boring!

The other reason to do this is if you want to start wearing something which is too early to wear, as in too summery. Perhaps something bright, or flowery, or really too thin for the weather.

I especially like to see the dress underneath showing at the bottom of the other one. The sleeves and the collar are nice too.

See what you think:

I didn’t quite find what I was looking for, so these ones will have to do. All I wanted, was to give you an idea of what it would look like. You are going to have to try different lengths and shapes together,  just what you already have in your wardrobe though. Good luck!

A little pink

I have decided I would really like to share more than just fashion pictures with you. You see, I often come across great ideas for the house, beautiful rooms or accessories…. because, at the end of the day, if something is gorgeous and stylish, it doesn’t necessarily have to be something to wear…

So, here is a room with a little pink in it. I rather surprised myself thinking how much I liked it, since I am not exactly into that colour…

The sofa is soooo chic! I like the wrinkly fabric and the “dog accessory”, even though I would have preferred a cat… Everything else is black and white, which makes the sofa stand out, and what about all those pictures in the back?! I have always loved a room with a wall full of pictures.

Hope you like this new addition.
