Details

I thought I would introduce a new category called “Details”. The reason behind this, is that I have been looking at which categories are most popular and found out that the top one is “current season”, which kind of makes sense, this is closely followed though, by “colour and clothes combinations”. Writing and finding pictures requires quite a bit of work on my part and I don’t always have the time I need.

The other reason is, I sometimes just notice or think of a detail and don’t really want to write a long post with lots of pictures about it.

So, this why.

It is not necessarily going to be about new ideas, because anyway, unless we “for instance” grew a third foot or similar, it would be difficult to come up with something which has never been done or seen before.

So, anyway, hope you like the idea.

Here’s the very first one:

Simple top with several thin and less thin necklaces in different lengths and materials/textures/etc.. Don’t over do it though or you will end up looking like the A-Team’s B-A!!

The necklaces are not necessarily the best ones but al least you get the idea…

Silk scarves

THE square silk scarf, we all know, is the Hermès one. Of course most of us can’t afford or don’t want to spend that sort of money on a piece of material, even though is silk. Fortunately, there are many other options.

For those who would really love to have the original Hermès, here is a small selection of what you can find on sites that sell “pre-owned” fashion:

There are otherwise beautiful and colourful silk scarves by other makes which are not as expensive:

there’s the polyester option

or fine cotton

whatever your choice, you need to know how to tie it around your neck, so here are some ideas:
