I am not a fan of satin, I see it definitely confined to very few occasions, usually evening ones. One can also very easily look “cheep” and “tarty”…

But, as often happens with fashion, I saw this picture and thought it might actually work…

Look the Pernille

I don’t especially like bright colours, but there are always exceptions. I find this look fresh, new and, in spite of the fabric and colour, very simple and chic. The thing is, she only added a white t-shirt to those trousers, that’s why. I would have worn something simpler on my feet though..and not white.

Unfortunately I found very few satin pieces, especially in bright colours, whether “Pernille” likes Satin or not, it doesn’t look like it is in fashion right now…Velvet seems to be, but that’s another post all together…

So, here’s the best item I found, which I find rather gorgeous (AND is cheap!!)

I really like this too, but it isn’t very bright , is it?! It would still work with a white t-shirt and perhaps a pair of “fussy” sandals…or simple sandals and “fussy” earrings instead…
