Cherry red

C. likes cherry red. I am not entirely sure I do, but, I am going to try. I also don’t know whether C. likes “ripe cherry” red or “not so ripe cherry” red….images-2 I know I prefer the deeper red, out of the two. The “Vignola” type, which of course you have no idea what it is, but C. does, as she lives not far from Vignola (place where they grow fantastic cherries!!).

If I had to consider wearing cherry red, I would probably go for accessories. If I had to choose clothes in that colour I would invest in something quite expensive. Because, the trouble with this colour, is that it looks cheap very easily, that’s why I would go for really nice material first of all and then cut too. I also would prefer the material to be light-weight or see-through. I would perhaps wear a pair of jeans, providing I am at the sea-side, possibly bare-foot along the beach at night… A dress could be nice, very simple and austere, not sure about a skirt though…

I also like it worn with very few colours: light grey, greyish brown or khaki, a little white. I am tempted to add a brownish/pink shade of orange, but only very little of it and with three colours in the outfit.

C. what do you think?
