If you are not a young woman anymore, if your tummy isn’t flat anymore, this is the post for you. I used to have one of those tummies my friend said wasn’t flat, it went in!!! Good old days, when you think you are far from perfect and you are sooo wrong. Than, one day, you decide to have kids…
C-section… and your tummy is not the same anymore and never will be. No matter how much you exercise. You are stuck with that little bulge, just above the cut… with the years, fat accumulates and there you are, you have a belly!
Well, I have the right pair of trousers. Perhaps you already know it but I only discovered it recently and I thought I would share it with the women like me, who are now far from perfect (this time for real) and are having trouble hiding the extras!
I have been wearing low waisted trousers with no pleats for years now. They are so comfy. I thought I was never going to wear this high-waisted trousers trend again… until not long ago. I was in COS and I saw them…
I tried them on, it was love at first sight!
This is why:
- the waist is half way between high and low, that means it sits half way on your “extra” bit. Had it been just above, it would have accentuated it, the same under it.
- there are pleats. Pleats hide. Pleats are supposed to make the trousers look wider in that exact point.
- the leg is wide at the top (so if by any chance!! you have a little extra there as well…) and narrow at the bottom, making you look like your legs are really thin and the width is the trousers and the trousers only!
- and last, they are ankle length, making you look taller as well!!
My husband doesn’t actually like them much, but hey! I have always thought, as long as you feel you look good, everybody else will too!!
Oh dear, such a long post about one pair of trousers…I know, it’s just I am really excited, feels like I’ve had plastic surgery, only without all the trouble/pain/cost/etc. The dream obviously ends abruptly when you take them off…
