It is no secret by now I adore tartan….
I have been looking on my usual sites for tartan clothes. I have found some beautiful things but most of them not within my price range! It’s really strange, it’s either extremely expensive or far too cheap! I hate the really cheap ones, tartan HAS to be good quality or one might as well forget about it as it is all about the fabric!
Anyway, here are some, several are quite expensive but, being something classic, it might be worth investing….
Otherwise, there are two other options: vintage or the Dress maker.
Vintage: I have recently been to a vintage fair where I have found a kilted skirt. I have had the leather ties changed and have taken it to the dry cleaner’s, but I am now very happy with my purchase.
Of course if you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, you can always have it made. Have a look at the site I have taken some pictures from: http://www.kinlochanderson.com/
